About Jenna Blue
Hi! My name is Jenna Blue. Thank you so much for taking time to visit my website! First thing is first, Something Blue would not be possible without my Lord and Savior. I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. A wedding planning business had always been a pipe dream.... until I was given the opportunity in 2015! I thank the good Lord every day for the life He has blessed me with.
I was born and raised on a livestock farm in central Indiana. My husband and I live happily in La Porte, Indiana with our puppy, Ruby. We are active in our church and Farm Bureau. My husband, friends and family are the most incredibly supportive people I know and I wouldn’t be where I am today without them.
I have been in 20 weddings as a bridesmaid, junior bridesmaid, and flower girl… and one wedding as the bride. Weddings are kind of my thing (insert emoji wearing cool sunglasses).
I live in a constant state of laughter because my friends and family are entirely too entertaining.
My husband is a NFL owner… along with about 360,760 Green Bay Packers fans.
I am the dog mom of a mini-goldendoodle named Ruby. I love her more than chips and salsa.
I am the catcher on our church league softball team. I am a terrible softball player. Much better wedding coordinator.
I will eat my bodyweight in wedding cake, Jelly Bellys, and chips and salsa.
Starbucks’ Strawberry Acai Refreshers make me feel like Cinderella when her fairy godmother magically turns her rags into a beautiful ball gown.
I find it no coincidence that Jesus’s first miracle was at a wedding.
A note to all my couples, please do not expect me to turn water into wine. I am not Jesus.
I actually sell seed to farmers by day, and plan weddings by nights and weekends. Some might say I am the ultimate superhero. They aren’t wrong (excuse me while I toot my own horn).
I have an unusual amount of pictures with my mouth open like I’m surprised to see a camera. I’m surprised a lot apparently.
The goal is to build and open my own wedding venue one day.
My favorite part of every wedding is when all the guests rise for the bride to walk down the aisle… gives me chills every time.
